Pam Gnabah

Pam first joined the team as a part time cashier in April 2007 and is  now our Inside Sales and Service Counter Manager.  She loves greeting and helping customers with their gardening needs.  She feels it is the best place to work because she is surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.  What could be better? And of course, customers who buy plants and flowers to beautify their spaces are ALWAYS happy people!  She gained her experience and knowledge at Rice’s Nursery with the help of all the experts that surround her.  Pam's favorite time of the year is May "When it’s all crazy around here!”.  She spends the winter changing, assembling, and painting the Garden Center so it is sparkling clean and stocked for spring.

Little Known Facts

• Graduated from Perry High School and went to Akron Institute of Medical and Dental assisting while working full time and caring for her family.
• Worked in Orthodontics for 19 years and admits that the first thing she notices about people is their smiles.  Guess that’s why she is always smiling!
• Her favorite answer to questions like “How are you?” or “How is your day?” would be “Peachy!”
• Always gets confused as one of the “kids” since she is so short.
• Her other love is dark chocolate!

When not working her life revolves around...

• Her 2 kids and all their events
• Working in her gardens or relaxing on the patio listening to the trees and pond.
• Likes it hot and sunny –not cold and snowy
• Hobbies are scrapbooking and Stampin’ Up
