Dave Dubel

Dave Dubel is the Lawn Fertilization Manager for Rice’s Nursery. He has over 12 years experience in the turf industry and continues to attend seminars/conferences to keep up with the latest chemicals, diseases, and other lawn issues. Most of the time you can find him on his hands and knees at a customer’s lawn digging for grubs and chinch bugs or diagnosing a lawn disease. Dave enjoys being on lawns, talking to customers, and educating people about their lawns. He takes pride in knowing everyone of his 800+ customers. He probably knows the car they drive and their dog’s name as well, but can’t remember what his wife told him to do 5 minutes ago. Some would say there are 72 Dave’s employed here at Rice’s, so if you can’t remember his last name then just ask for Dave the “Lawn Guru”.

Education and Job Experience

Dave has been with Rice’s for over 7 years. He earned a degree in Business Management from Stark State and is an Ohio Department of Agriculture licensed Commercial Applicator.
